HBO been the GOAT, this aint no new shyt.

They hit a rough spot especially with their dramas the last few years but they got a winner with Succession, Watchmen and Westworld are intriguing enough to be counted as wins as well.

They've also turned into showtime with how long their comedies run but people still seem to enjoy them.

Ditto. But FX has a bad year. The only thing i think I watched was Legion which was forgettable.

Not sure if the merger had anything to do with it but Amazon was much better this year than FX with Undone, The Boys and Fleabag(from what i hear)

Talk about supposed good TV but don't mention Too Old To Die Young aka the only tv-show to push what tv-shows could be, brehs.

I really liked drive. And have watched all types of film including disturbing imagery. But that shyt was hot trash truck juice. All it was is sick shyt on screen shot beautifully with no engaging serious plot. I had to abort bu the 4th episode because I can only take people staring into the distance saying nothing for 15 seconds for no reason for so long

HBO is facing a lot of pressure from the other streaming services, so they've been forced to step up their game. Especially given their standalone app is one of the most expensive. But yeah, with Westworld and Curb your enthusiasm on the horizon after the GoT, deuce, silicon valley, ballers, watchmen and succession all finishing up, they better keep putting out more piff.
