They've also turned into showtime with how long their comedies run but people still seem to enjoy them.

Showtime needs to come with no more new shows like the chi and black Monday. Most of their shyt is old now with

Ray Donovan-season 7
Shameless-season 10
Homeland-season 8

Not gonna count Showtime out by any means yet tho.

Better call Saul comes back next year. TWD and FTWD are both solid as well still.

HBO never lost the crown IMO. Nobody has been as consistent, people gonna complain about the thrones last season but it's still one of the GOAT shows and this is the network that gave us The Wire and Sopranos and everything you mentioned in the OP plus Curb on the comedy side I could go on..

Just off Danny McBride's HBO resume alone, they've killed it on the comedy shows:

Gemstones
