this is damn sad and why kids need physical tools/books at home. we had a globe and a big ass 300 page atlas, i now have committed to memory countries that don't even exist anymore :pachaha:

but god damn, you got google maps/google earth on your phone, you don't never zoom out and just check out shyt on other continents?

What I learned in the 90s in those big ass encyclopedia don't even exist anymore. Yugoslavia gone. USSR gone. Zaire, gone.

My parents brought all of those big brown encyclopedias too. Nowadays, you don't need that. My son love space and be telling me about the solar system and the milky way and correcting me on names like makemake. Never heard of it in my life. My son like, what is make make daddy

I don't like how the interviewers ignored or encouraged them when they gave the wrong answer. That was annoying.

Most people aren't interested in geography like that (if at all).

I love geography, but I'm in the minority. It is what it is :manny:
