Ehh I feel you...I get what he's saying though. Basically, no one is going to stay in a sidepiece situation indefinitely. In actuality, expecting a side chick to stay with you forever is actually being selfish with the game. Sometimes dudes expect chicks that they push to the side to keep banging them indefinitely as if she's so wrapped up in the dude...dudes start to believe in their own legend LOL.

Side chicks are side chicks for a reason and they're in your life for a stated purpose...to provide entertainment with little expectations. How many people are going to stay in a situation for the long term where they're getting little to no tanglible results? No relationship, no real feelings, no commitment, etc. All while knowing that you've got someone that you actually care about. Chicks, the ones without a total "f#ck love attitude, aren't going to remain in that forever.

Even with those stories that you see on television, in the movies or even from people you know of aren't telling you the whole story when they talk about the faithful mistress who loved him even during his whole marriage. Because usually they forget to tell you the part where the dude was paying her mortgage, buying her gifts and keeping her hair and nails did.

but y'all are missing the point. it's not that she refuses to remain a sidechick that's messed up. if she realizes she's not happy with the arrangement and leaves, that's cool and understandable. the problem is the fakeness they engage in once they've decided to leave, Meaning they figure out they're not happy but instead of keeping it real with you, they act as if everything is all good, and then one day out of the blue they completely cease all contact and act as if they don't know you (acting brand new). Basically it's all in the way they end it like cowards instead of keeping it real.

I agree wholeheartedly...its very childish, selfish and unbecoming of an adult. Matter of fact, its anti-adult behavior. I wasn't trying to justify that kind of action. Just pointing out that side chicks, at their very definition and function, are temporary.

If I was dealing with a chick who did something like that on a side chick basis, then I would....

Why? Because at least I experienced this with a side chick. At least I had the discernment to know that she was less than deserving of a serious designation in my life BECAUSE she's the kind of woman who would do the "drop off the face of the planet" move. At least I didn't invest anything in her more than a few nuts in her jaw.

Now, if that was your girlfriend, then.......but I also have to at the dude. Only a dude with a faulty application review (dating) process would be involved in a real relationship with a woman who would pull that kind of move on a dude she's actually in a relationship with.

So you expect her to behave in a mature and self-confident fashion? What part of being a side chick suggests that a chick is mature and self-confident? Any female willing to play herself like that is clearly lacking in those categories. You can't expect her to suddenly become Ms. Maturity when shyt changes. Use her for what you wanted and keep it moving when you are done. The whole point of a side chick is that she's supposed to be easy and disposable. Once shyt starts becoming complicated or difficult it's time to dispose of her and keep it moving.

There is no justification for either side. As a guy or a girl if you decide to play games you have to accept the bullshyt that comes with it. If you enter a situation as a sidepiece you have no right to become indignant about it. At the same time if you cast a chick as a side chick you have no right to expect loyalty or realness from her.
