US gas companies and arms manufacturers beg to differ. Construction companies are rubbing their hands like birdman for those contracts too.

The real winners in war(as usual) are the businesses selling their waves. America's economy was SUPERCHARGED by the second World War and reached a level of production that it never had. If you watched your business go from making 1million to 10 million a year, you'll look for any reason to keep that shyt going. Hence the cold war.

They need wartime levels of production to never stop, partially because most of the people running these businesses are rich on paper(stock) if the stock value decreases, and shows no signs of coming back to what it once was, they'll have to sell shares and try to trigger layoffs and stock buybacks to create the illusion of profitability. Meanwhile they'll be grasping desperately for a new boogeyman.

That can only last for so long until things go nuclear. If the US fukks up BRICS with the heavy handed tactics they've been accustomed to over the years. Russia will have a lot less patience.

The only reason why Russia hasn't bombed Ukraine or a NATO country yet is because of BRICS. They have something to lose with BRICS, if that's gone diplomacy is off the table.

This is all basic chess for Russia. They want to secure their borders from NATO and Ukraine is currently a compromised state that has come back to bite them in the ass.
