yep...but I'll give him a few more tries because like I said, he's still pretty young for a director and I haven't liked any of his films since 25th Hour...I was so excited for Miracle at St. Anna, but that shyt was ridiculously bad thanks to a muddled and wandering script...but, he has always come through on the Katrina documentaries recently, so that's a plus...that basketball doc though was :snooze:

Like I said, I think he's better off with documentaries, he's usually hit and miss. at the bold, You talked about Kobe documentary right? cause that sh!t was pretty much :trash:

His films, I think he's pretty much done but I'll give him one more chance.

Well if you shyt on a product before you've even tried it, it never had a chance to be any good in your eyes. That's stupid.

Not all remakes are bad. From what I hear he did the movie justice but fanboys rejected the movie before even a trailer dropped. Add on to the fact that media and white people just don't like Spike Lee and he's fighting an even tougher uphill battle in attempting to translate the most beloved Korean movie since (shyt I don't know, Silmido?) in a remake. Just saying the word "remake" makes people cringe and scoff regardless of whether or not the product is any good. In hindsight this was DRT as soon as the project was conceived.

Let's say I'm getting tired of giving them benefit of doubt when come to remake films. I refuse to pay rent or go to movie theaters "Remake films". Remake films is not worth for my money.

When they come on TV then I'll watch it then I'll give you my honest opinion if it's good or not on remake films.

He makes a good point @SuikodenII ...remakes for the most part have been god awful...only a few, like Let me In and The Departed are actually great films while the rest, both remakes of foreign and American films, have been terrible and are only made to capitalize off the name alone..they don't care if the movie sucks, they just wanna make money off of them

These foreign films took next level...I hate America remake movies took waterd down turn into PG-13.

This is why I have so much respect for foreign films cause they came up with the original while America have to remake movies from foreign films, from classic movies, reboot, etc...:pacspit: at Hollywood running out of idea.

Look at classic Total Recall, then remake Total Recall's PG-13? :what:

Spike's Oldboy wasn't horrible and if it existed in a vacuum I could see how some might even say it was good but being a remake of such a well-made classic it automatically creates comparisons and Spike's version pales when compared to Chan-wook Park's movie.
I wasn't feeling some of the more major changes Spike made either.

If Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus doesn't make any major moves, he's done.

the story behind the pics ...

Taiwanese man, 54, gets Lego-style flat top haircut to impress 23-year-old woman
Wu Lei reportedly uses a huge amount of his time and gel to sculpt his hair into a perfectly right-angled flat top, to catch the unimpressed younger lady’s eye.

However, his extreme efforts have so far amounted to nothing - as the object of his desire repeatedly rejects his advances.

"My friends call him blockhead," the woman, who has not been named, told the Mirror.
