Nah mad max got them beat. The comic book stans are crazy but they keep it Marvel v DC. As soon as I see someone say "the avengers should win best picture and is a masterpiece that will change movies forever", then I'll agree. If mad max wins best picture it will cement itself as the most overrated movie of alltime
The acting from the new characters was better than the prequels.
But overall though I think most blockbuster movies get overshadowed by prerelease trailers, spoilers and overall hype.

no it's not. Hence why I'm scaring itc overrated. Those last 3 Chris Nolan movies are slightly overrated especially interstellar but I'm not hearing anyone calling it a masterpiece or it getting undeserved award love. It they were I'd be saying those were the most overrated films ever. But they aren't. Mad max isWho gives a fukk about awards though? It of the year by far and it doesn't need some dumb statue to "validate" that. And it's impossible to be the most overrated movie of all time in a world where Nolan's last three movies all have IMDb scores over 8/10.
