Hate to say it but Star Wars is the most overrated movie since MOS.

dont get me wrong it was a dope movie and I will go check it out again this weekend

See a movie a second time in theaters while insisting it's overrated, brehs.

I just saw it last night. Boyega played his role well, but it rubbed me the wrong way how he was basically bumbling and stumbling the whole movie crying for Rae, when she basically son'd him and she was made to look competent. He seemed like a bumbling slave crying for Rae(his master). Rubbed me the wrong way.....

But on the real I truly don't understand the insane hype for mad max at all. I thought it was good. Like a 7/10 but best picture? A masterpiece? I dont get it. I dont get it at all.Great action. Amazing stunts. Cool visuals but that's it. The story and plot is super fukking weak. The dialogue was nonexistent. Watched it with 5 other dudes and we came out like "well that was pretty good. Dont understand why it has a 97% or rotten tomatoes tho" Before the fanboys start telling me "Mad Max is supposed to be all action. It doesn't need a plot or storyline" I get that but to be best picture you need more. For example when I watch pineapple express I watch it to laugh. Nothing more. And it delivers. IMO one of the funniest movies ever. But would I say its one of the actual best movies of all time? Hell no. Even though it delivers on its goals and what I expect there is more to amazing movies than that imo. If Mad Max wins best picture it will easily be without question the most overrated movie ive ever watched in my entire life. That's all i gotta say on the subject

All I gotta say is "negged". But I will suggest you look up some of my posts in the Mad Max thread about the many, many layers and levels of subtext in the movie. For all its grandiose action (and bah gawd, is the action grandiose!) it also features the best storytelling in a 2015 motion picture. It's all show, no tell, and in a climate where the opposite is unfortunately the norm and constantly praised, it's no surprise the movie went over people's heads.

Negged back. It's overrated and anti Muslim . I still thought it was a good movie it's just not a classic like people want it to be. Oh yeah it went over my head
