On one hand, brah has been a part of some atrocious DB play in San Fran aside from Sherman. And it might even smell like some more loyalty/friendship bs being that him and Day were on the same staff with Chip. On the other hand, some of the DB's he's worked with are championing him on Twitter and most people seem to think he has an high IQ but we've heard that about plenty of people. I'll say his pairing with a front line guy in Mattison to go with his DB "expertise" will be interesting at the very least. Very NFL centric as far as schemes are concerned.
Oh, and Hafley was on staff back with Tampa Bay like 6-8 years ago when they were intercepting everything some "bright side" shyt to look to. Maybe he just didn't have the right guys in San Fran. He will have plenty of 4 and 5 stars to work with at tOSU.
I could see this shyt being a complete disaster or I could see it being great at the same time. I guess one good thing to take from this is Day is actually making some changes and Davis and Schiano is gone so I'm not gon complain about that.

So you braggin about taking a 70 year old DL coach from us, who wanted to be our D-Coordinator if Brown were to leave for Temple, that wasn't gonna get the gig. A 70 year old thats been burned out from recruiting for the past 3-4 years.
And you braggin about taking our LB coach who got exposed in our bowl game when he didn't have our best LB playing (Bush) Who excels in Ohio recruiting (apparently) .. yet you guys don't need any help In that area.
