Has there been any movies that were supposed to be TRASH but ended up being a classic?

Home Alone.

They were expecting it to make $14m.

Fought with the studio over the budget n had 2 go to another studio.

Netflix has a new show about it.

Die Hard is another one.

1 more....

Coherence.

Movie is crazy good.

No script, 3 regular ass cameras, no real editing work, barely had a budget. If you go back and watch, the screen goes blank, or black between each scene. There's 0 transition...

Movie is still great.

Believe it or not there is a lot of talk now that Forrest Gump was overrated but I don't think so.. Hanks is a tremendous fukking actor, I can never hate :manny:

Probably a bunch of lame Z Gen fukks saying this. :scust:

Anyone who watched it when it dropped can honestly say it's a classic. I knew it was special when I watched it then.

Was there any movies that looked cashgrab, straight-to-dvd status that ended up being with the GOATS?

Or any movie where people assumed that it was some troll shyt (ie: sharknado) but instead they actually took it seriously and legitimately made it a good movie? :lupe:
Dr. No. It was a low budget spy flick, nobody expected it to turn into one of the longest running movie franchises ever.
