Nah, Im just tired of him now to be honest. First and foremost, he should have an album BY NOW. Period. I'm all for waiting for music, and that "Toyota's take a couple of hours, and Maybach's take months--blahh blahh blahh" but at the same time, its been damn near 3 years since GKMC. He's been slacking, and it seems like the life and praise is catching up to dude. The longer he waits the less it seems like he'll deliver because the expectation will go up. You need to be consistent, and that's what seperates a Ye' from a lot of these new nikkas. I'm not saying GKMC was a fluke, because I don't believe it was. But at the same time, I wondering if he's questioning whether or not he can make classic music on the regular. Im wondering if GKMC did my harm than good on his artistic psyche, but Im tired of waiting. At some point you gotta drop something B. You have to.

You are spoilt. GKMC isn't good enough for you ? Classic music on the regular ? do you hear yourself ?

Fans of other genres have to wait years upon years before an artist releases a project.

Why are you so impatient and ungrateful ?

First of all. I'm a fan of other genre's of music and Hip Hop isn't even my main genre of music. But in Hip Hop, its been established that the time in between projects is shorter. It's been almost 3 years since GKMC, and he hasn't put in enough work to take breaks like that :blackye:

I don't mind a Nas, a Ye, A Jay, taking a break because their resumes are so extensive and they've put in so much time, that a break is okay.

Kendrick isn't even in his prime. I consider him to be still on the rise. GKMC is the 2nd best HH project of the decade, and he doesnt have to release classic music on the regular, but there should be SOMETHING out now. It doesn't have to be a classic, but he has to drop something.

"c00n" shaming aside. There is def a change in the kids demeanor. I mean this is the same rapper who used to allude shooting and killing crooked cops on tracks, and name dropping black radicals.

Now all of a sudden its all about "self respect" and "self love":comeon:. Imo I think when he was just a kid from Compton he had no idea his music would touch so many people from different walks of life. So he tone'd it down

Bars from one of his songs, The Relevant
:sas2:
I'd rather you call me that
than a typical artist you call wack
on a YouTube blog holding ARs and stacks
of ones, but never could be the one
to rally communities or lead a crowd of blacks
Passion is too strong, I'm pissed off

from Money Trees
There are many ways you can interpret this. It could be :mjpls: or :leostare: or :salute:depending on how he means it.

He has some songs that are amazing, such as Money Trees, Rigamortis, Ignorance is Bliss, Cartoons and Cereal, etc.

What does he expect to get asked in these interviews? Media likes to know what celebrities think of world events. There's really nothing musically to ask him about at this point. He's dropped 1 song and 10 interviews in the last 6 months.

Not saying that he shouldn't expect to be asked those questions. Just saying that answering a question isn't the same as "all black people should agree with me, and I represent what all black people think"
