Yup.

Been several years. The only reason Black men had low cuts is cause they were more acceptable to get jobs and shyt.

Now that America is trying to be less racist and people pointing out micro aggressions and shyt like that you can have any hair you want.

I feel like there were a number of high profile stories about women getting in trouble for wearing their natural hair at work.

i noticed that too. Look like black folks saying fukk the statue quo.

That sounds good ...
I can dig it....

I personally think its apart of the feminizing of black men.

Longer hair has always really been a woman thing.
It takes time to care for it and get it done and looking nice.
It's a constant thing.
Men normally aren't with all that maintenance with their hair.

A hair cut every couple weeks, and they was good.

Men grow their hair out and are into clothes and shoes alot more

A few years ago my barber was $25, now he’s at $35 BEFORE TIP. I literally was thinking okay, this is ridiculous. When I was younger and cuts were $10-$15 I used to get haircuts every week! I couldn’t imagine spending 2K+ a year on haircuts. If I had the head shape and a respectable beard, I would rock the baldy proudly and save mad money.

Last cut I got was 20 years and 2 months ago

I’ve estimated ive saved over $20k for not paying for cuts every 2 weeks for over 2 decades.

I rock a middie with my curly hair. OD took me two years to find a fire barber in San Diego that can cut my texture of hair, and it just so happened to be a white guy:heh:.

Some of these barbers out here be wanting $35+ for haircuts, that's over $800 a year to keep a fade.
This deserves a platform for discussion. These cut prices have gotten ridiculous. For what I was paying a dub for a decade ago is $45 out here in Dallas. When I moved from Huntsville, AL, barbers bumped prices from $25 to $35. I don’t understand it

Cut my locs a few years ago, had them for about 7 years. They were down my back, sometimes they used to spook me when I forgot about them :mjlol:

Now I rock a nappy from with a line up, I missed that wave because of the locs. It looked so cool when all my friends used to do it. :wow:

Those same guys went the dread, wave and bald route and will swear up and down they never had the "Duke starting 5, nappy fro" or whatever you call it, cut.

No one's a follower:mjgrin:

Waka had me growing out my hair:ehh:
