Ain’t had an actual cut since COVID started. Linings & tapers don’t count

The nappy afro became popular in 2015 so braids and dreads were obviously the next step.

It’s a style and trend.

I think a greater variety of black men (and women) with more natural styles is always a good thing.

But yeah, this start 10-15 years ago with the popularity of natural hair care products, the push away from chemical treatment, and the re-emerging popularity of long braids and locks.
