Anyways, I think theraflu is right, Adnan knows way more than he's letting on. Jay seems like a sociopath imo. I think it was Adnan's idea to kill Hae and he payed Jay to do it. But remember, Jay was dating Adnan's close friend stephanie, and it was her birthday, so Adnan lent jay his car to buy her a gift.

If that's true, why doesn't he have a solid alibi? And moreover, why would Jay have implicated himself at all in this business if he were the actual killer? Adnan would have either accused Jay of doing it, or confessed to paying for the hit to turn the tables on Jay, and either way Jay would have gotten a life sentence.

Yeah that's True.but like if jay did it by himself why did he do it in the first place ? Annan does have a motive for murder but its really weak Imo. As i keep listening i am starting to thinks adnan was framed imo like i seriously dont even know what to believe

I need Adnan to explain what the fukk he thinks happened that day, like why would your friend accuse you of murdering your ex-girlfriend and also claim he helped you bury it? If he can't even try to make sense of that, why are we supposed to care about his plight, even if innocent?

Episode 4 - Jay ends up going to the cops only after the cops contact Jen. Jen got questioned because Adnan's phone calls her six times the day of the murder. When Jen first gets visited by the cops, she stalls, tells them nothing and then runs straight to Jay to get their story straight. Then with Jay's blessing, Jen goes to the cops and tells them that they can talk to Jay.

After listening to episode 4 for a second time I am almost convinced that Jay is the killer. He lies CONSTANTLY. Every question you have about Adnan, you can raise the same questions about Jay. Where is Jay's alibi?

Did anyone check Jay for scratches and signs of a struggle?

This cat is throwing away his clothes in public dumpsters and cleaning shovels to get rid of evidence.

Jay's motive is that Hae was going to tell Stephanie (Jay's girlfriend) that Jay was cheating on her. Also, Stephanie was really close friends with Adnan. They say Stephanie was one of the prettiest girls in the school. She was homecoming queen. Jay was not trying to give that up. Jay kills Hae, to avoid getting caught for cheating, then frames Adnan, who was a little bit too cosy with his girlfriend Stephanie. In one stroke of brilliance, he gets rid of BOTH threats to his relationship.

i just listened to episode 4 and Holy shyt why wasn't jay tried for helping with disposing the body. How was he able to walk free when he practically confessed to covering a murder ? And Imo the cops were biased as fix and were determined To arrest adnan. And i wonder what jay looks like i would not be surprised of he was white

Supposedly he is black. If you want to really lose hours of your life trying to solve the case, there is a thread on reddit that is really deep on the topic. Adnan's best friend and his aunt are posting on there discussing stuff beyond the podcast.

I think he got convicted of an accessory after the fact charge, and got a suspended sentence.

I agree it's flimsy but Adnan getting dumped by his high school girlfriend and losing it isn't that much more likely. Dude has no history of mental illness, no priors and isn't socially awkward like some columbine kid.
