I was with my ex wife for 10 years and we have 2 boys.
The only time I'm in the picture is when I call to ask to speak to my sons, pick them up or drop them off. We do not hang out, talk, or even as much ask how are you doing.
Our conversations are purely about our sons and they're more like reports of how they are doing.
I take care of my side of business so you never hear my ex wife complaining.
There is a growing group of predatory men out there who specifically prey on single mothers and have no problem being there white knights.
I had a dude once wish me happy mother's day and when I told him I didn't have kids he was a bit surprised and said something about how I should or some shyt.Really?
Because I am in my mid 20s, and whenever I tell s man I don't have kids he treats me like there is something wrong with me, or acts confused.

I'm 28, and decided to stop messing with single mothers. I was dealing with this woman that had a daughter for close to a year. Had a pregnancy scare and I realized that I wouldn't be alright mentally, raising a child with a woman who already had one with someone else. I had to pull the plug on that situation. Ever since then I just don't mess with them. No hate, no animosity, I just leave them alone.
I don't really see my stance changing though. If I was in my mid thirties and still single, no kids, I would still avoid women with children. At that point I would just date younger or start sifting through haystacks looking for needles.
