calories, go to subway and buy 4 cookies (900 Calories)

doesnt matter what you eat as long as you get the calories in, now if you really care about your health and your energy levels then don't eat the cookies but it's just an example

Hardgainers (stupid term because there is no such thing) just don't eat enough. You think you are buy eating clean all the way but it's hard to go in a significant calorie surplus. Ok so I am 140 pounds if I eat 2800 calories of course UI will gain weight but once I get to 150 and eat 2800 I will too but I gain less. By the time you get to 180 you gotta eat 180x16+ more to keep growing.

A mix of clean and dirty will get you big in no time. You will only get fat if you don't work hard enough and skip workouts alot.

Put peanut butter in your oatmeal every morning. Drink 2-3 protein shakes a day, u can but peanut or almond butter in that too. Eat about 6-8 eggs a day. Eats tons of yams and potatoes. Eat a salad every day and add a ton of nuts, and seeds. Throw in some lean chicken and fish whenever u can

The question is do you wanna get solid lean muscle big? Or do you not mind adding mostly fat? If your skinny/lean and most of your calories are from fat/sugar filled food yes you will get bigger but u can kiss those abs goodbye... Yes its easy to reach your calorie goals by eating sweets and shakes but u might find yourself missing being lean later on. I know plenty of guys that thought they had a "super fast" metabolism that have never been able to get that mid section right after "bulking" up..

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but more important than food. I think how you train is far more important than diet to a degree.

Remember low reps heavy Wright

I figured out that It's not so much that I'm a hardgainer, it's just that the amount of healthy food I gotta eat in to achieve my daily caloric surplus in my bulk, makes the food disappear quicker because I gotta consume so much. As opposed to eating dirty, but getting HIGH number of calories from less meals. That's pretty much what I think my problems is. That's not to say I don't have a fast metabolism, but I eat, and eat, and eat the rice and veggies and chicken, before Wednesday they're already done and I end up eating in a deficit. All that quick weight-gain is lost.....

I won't get into the healthy food vs unhealthy food debate........

That said, bulking on "clean" foods solely is way to tedious (as you are seeing) to some degree counter productive and where is the fun in that. No need to go full restart but if you can't be "loose"on a bulk then :francis:

Flexible dieting my friend
