They broke up a potential championship team and you think that's a good idea?

Would you stay at your job because you may win employee of the year versus just about doubling your salary?

:childplease:

nikka Harden wrote the book on how to deal with this older Laker team

And how the fukk is Harden supposed to match Dwade, Lebron, and the heat intensity waltzing off the bench expecting him to produce and make up for Durant sleep walking, harden was completely out of groove and sync with his team. If the coach had any foresight he would have put all 3 in the starting lineup so Harden could take his blows early and then weather the storm and fight back with his team,, not get thrown into of a all out war where all the pressure would be on him to be the x factor

sit the fukk down

did you watch the games?

harden wasnt doing shyt except when he was guarded by sessions and blake, those are facts

durant was sleep walking? :what: what playoffs were you watching? durant and westbrook showed up, harden was ass

stop it. you just making yourself look stupid now. martin had a 6 season stretch averaging 22 PPG and had highs of 23 ppg twice and 24 ppg once. all this revisionist history is all sidetalk and wasn't what i was aruging. stop the bullshyt.

:wtf:

Do you even watch games? Or just look at stats. Let me tell you MARTIN IS fukkING TRASH. Whatever fukking points he scroes is negated by the fact that he plays absolutely NO DEFENSE. The dude is a cornball.

As a Spurs fan im still :stylin: that Harden got traded to Houston.

I think he was the most difficult player on OKC to deal with. San Antonio had no answer for him. He swung last year's series with his shots in the 4th quarter of Game 5

You say the exact same thing in every Harden thread. Nobody says anything about a bad game because any reasonable person knows poor showings are inevitable. The sample size continues to grow and Harden continues to impress so idk why you wouldn't expect people to constantly speak highly of him on this forum.

On the flip side you seem incapable of being objective about him and what he's doing. There's always an excuse: lucky calls, he still has flaws, etc. Bro virtually every ball player has "flaws". It's part of what makes styles, teams, and determines the overall flow and game of basketball in general.

So what if he doesn't shoot many mid range jumpers. If he's dominant on the perimeter and driving why would it be better for him to take what actually amounts to a lower percentage shot. Also lets not confuse his lack of mid range attempts with a lack of mid range shot. As you saw last night at the end of the game (I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt although I'm positive you don't watch the Rockets much) he can cook boys in the mid range just fine.

And our pace covers up his flaws? Einstein the pace is more so for the rest of the players that make up the youngest team in the league and according to Morey (who I'm sure has stats on this) is one of the least experienced teams in league history. I suppose if you consider getting to the line so much pure luck then I can see how you could come up with some ridiculous shyt like he struggles in the halfcourt. Harden has no trouble creating for himself and others. It's "the others" that benefit most from the fast pace style. Btw it's funny how McHale is getting credit when before this year he has always been considered a terrible coach/personnel evaluator.

Unless you're talking about defense... can't defend that.

:wow:

So well stated. I lost all respect for Gil-Scott when he consistently attempted to put Kevin Martin in the same category as Harden...:heh:

People love to bring up how Harden underachieved against the Heat, but not about how he resurged the Thunder against the Spurs, who were the hottest team in the league and had won like 18 straight.

lol

Harden's defense is probably worse than Martin's. I don't think I've seen a player with Harden's physical makeup (or close to it) be this bad defensively.

You still wanna profess he's got a mid-range game?

You still wanna profess he's effective when he doesn't get calls?

You still wanna profess he still doesn't have a 'basic game'?
