You putting a lot of faith in rookies. I dont know about PJones but i saw Lamb this preseason and he was right on his way to the developmental league

in 16mins of play with a shytty houston rotation he, averaged 0.385 from 3 ,38fg, 6.2ppg and 4 rpg. and remember this is with a shytty houston roster full of pfs and centers. he will be good in a legit rotation within limited minutes.

I'll just repost what I said in the game thread.

Listen, OKC misses Harden. They have zero playmakers outside of Durant and Westbrook. There is just so much pressure on those two to play at an exceptionally high level for them to compete against the best teams in the league.

Martin is a decent scorer but that's it. He gives them nothing else. Harden is a great ball handler and took a lot of pressure off Durant and Westbrook.

I said it at the time and I'll continue to say it: that was a terrible trade and they're going to regret it.

They suck tonight but overall they're dominating without James. Plus he was ass against Miami last year anyway.

this part is not true because the bench is much deeper this year. i see pjones III and lamb contributing to the scoring load. last year, when the bench would come in, it was get the ball to harden and let him make a play.

I warned you. Rather have James than Selfbrook

Because good/great players have never had a shytty series before Harden did in last year's Finals? :stopitslime:

OKC will be fine in the regular season, but Durant and Westbrook have to do too much for this team to be successful against the best teams in the league. No way they win the title this year and it's not like they have a lot of cap room either after the contract they gave to Ibaka.

He didnt just have a bad series, they exposed a major flaw in his game. James pretty much lives on the Pick and roll, the problem is miami has the best pick and roll defense in basketball. They shut it down, kept him off the line and he was useless. And That's as true today as it was In June.

I'm not saying he's the only reason they lost, there were some TERRIBLE coaching moves by Brooks but he was a big factor. And it's not like he doesn't have the same Weakness

They

No star players are signing with OKC and they aren't gonna draft a Harden replacement. They have Durant, Westbrook and a bunch of extremely limited players. The way they're situated, I don't see how they're gonna bring in impact players, especially with their lack of assets.

Did SA and Dallas expose LeBron? Like Harden isn't going to improve as a player? He was 22 years old when that series was played last June.

:wtf: at all of this.

They didn't fukk up. they made the right move getting rid of Harden. Ibaka isn't limited and neither is Martin. Lack of assets? - they've got enough assets to trade for a star player..

:wtf:

Ibaka and Martin aren't limited? :wtf: What do either of those two bring to the table that is special?

All Martin does is give you a little scoring. Ibaka is strictly a spot-up shooter on offense and a good shot blocker.

What are these assets you speak of? :wtf:

They didn't trade Harden because they didn't wanna keep him. They dealt Harden because it was difficult for them to afford everyone.

Short of getting a player as good as Harden (or Westbrook) back, it woulda been hard for them to look great in a trade back. All you could ask Clay Bennett to do is bite the financial bullet. Owners rarely ever wanna do that :manny:

you grouped martin and ibaka together with perkins, by saying kd and sabo are surrounded by a bunch of extremely limited players. martin isn't a extremely limited player. and stop saying they fukked up by trading harden... they couldn't afford to keep him :rudy:

the assets they got from trading harden.............. :wtf:

The Spurs and Mavs exposed lebron for having no postgame and no consistent jumpshot. You can't say the same thing anymore

Harden still has the same flaws as it shows this season. So he wasnt going to get them over the hump this year anyway. Of course he can improve but you never know. But OKC came to the conclusion they couldnt afford paying all those guys and they had to make a choice

And that's the problem. These guys are billionaires. If they really want to win, spend the damn money. That's the game. :manny:

And if he really wanted to pinch pennies, he should have paid Harden and let Ibaka walk, in my opinion. He's much more replaceable as far as I'm concerned. :ehh:
