I've heard 50/50 arguments for both teams. I think it's an excellent deal for OKC. I think it's excellent for HOU too.
People tripping off of the Lin/Asik deals, but if nothing else they are short, and that 3rd year is a crazy expiring. This summer, they can add the 2nd big piece. This trade gave them their first. And I'm in the school of thought who thinks James Harden will trend up as the man. nikkas mad at him, but Houston can offer that 5th year, which makes it a 20 mil difference, not a 4.5 mil difference. He'd be dumb not to take that. He's 23, get yo paper.

i actually think he will be worse this year, he hasnt shown anything new or promising in preseason or the Olympics. I've been saying this for weeks now you can check for earlier postings; this aint just a "jump the ship type shyt" from me. im not even sure harden played basketball this off season.

EXACTLY. I think people here mistaken Kevin Martin of Sac-town. He's NOT the same player he was in Houston. Dude's been awful the past 2-3 seasons for the Rockets.
