Rompe is to "break". What that means in the context of the music (If I'm correct) I have no idea.

I can't rock with reggaeton, though. Grates on my nerves. I'd rather get down with some pure bachata or merengue. *remembering the times I used to go to the clubs up in Washington Heights pretending I was Dominican* "Claro, mami, yo soy de San Pedro de Macoris...
