There are no deadlines to meet. They were built as an incubation studio. They didn’t even have a project at first.

Once they got the project, then it was time to get the right team in place. That ment some people leaving and hiring a whole other studio to work on the game.

It makes sense employees would leave. This is just like an NFL team drafting a skilled player in the first round. Whoever’s already in that position Is probably on their way out.

Lies. Every studio they’ve “built” had been very successful.

Only “failed” studio that had was lionhead.

So they had a huge head start?
Makes sense :ehh:

Sony stans :mjlol:

Post tweets from random cacs brehs.:mjlol:

At that time they literally had like 5 employees and no actual game to work on.

The goal was to build a studio. The Rona and the labor market said NO.

It’s well documented all over the industry that finding and maintaining talent is hard as fukk.

If they had “half” of their employees leave and that was about 30 people. At their peak it was a 60 person studio, which is nowhere near the numbers you need for a AAA game in 2022.

In that context they never even had a video game studio. Just some ideas.

As those ideas came together they now made the correct steps to acquire the correct talent.

Now they gotta actually make a game:manny:

All you are doing is posting random tweets from random Sony stans.

343i built a new engine/platform from the ground up and built a GOTY level game, secured 20 million players in just a couple days, and now have one of the most popular ongoing games on Xbox.

You know absolutely nothing about everwild. Rares last game was one of the biggest success stories of last gen. Microsoft is letting them cook.

Again if it was the other way around and Microsoft was forcing them into a game to make a quick buck. You would be posting tweets about how Microsoft doesn’t let their studios be creative. :stopitslime:

Like I know, y’all really don’t care about this stuff, just reaching for a stan angle.

But in reality this type of stuff happens with most games.

Read this book it you actually care.

Most games and projects are in literal shambles until they are not.

But as usual Sony stans only concerned when it’s Microsoft games. :smh:

So when they hired a whole new ass studio, they didn’t need to maintain redundant roles.

Crazy right :ohhh:

Every single one of those guys left another successful franchise. Why no doom and gloom about the projects they left to join?

Funny thing is, some of them have gone on to work for crystal dynamics, just to end up working on the same game.

But i was told they were just a support studio :dead:

Imagine bringing in the studio that made The Avengers to fix your game :deadmanny:
Lots of the people they hired were from that studio in the first place.

Imagine hiring one of the most successful and long time running studios EVER, to work on your game.

Crazy:smh:
