It’s well documented all over the industry that finding and maintaining talent is hard as fukk.
If they had “half” of their employees leave and that was about 30 people. At their peak it was a 60 person studio, which is nowhere near the numbers you need for a AAA game in 2022.
In that context they never even had a video game studio. Just some ideas.
As those ideas came together they now made the correct steps to acquire the correct talent.
