So we just gon overlook a possible top 7 SG and HOF in Clyde Drexler going to houston and helping the Dream win a ship while averaging 20 and 7 while Hakeem was somewhat in his prime? We gon ignore thie lil "super" team right here right?

Old players and their hypocrisy I swear

Drexler wasnt a superstar in 95'. And lol at the 95' Rockets being anywhere near a superteam

Hakeem had just come off winning a title though. It's not as if Hakeem needed Drexler. If anything the guy you wanna go after is Drexler, not Hakeem.

He needed Drexler to win that second title. They were a middle of the pack team until Clyde came

Rockets turned down the Blazers offer which was 2nd pick + Clyde for Sampson.

They could have taken Jordan or Chuck second :mindblown:

My god, they might have won 10 titles in a row. I never knew about that trade proposal. :wow:

It's funny how all of the people speaking out against superteams never seemed to complain when they were on stacked teams themselves. It's not just the retired guys, either. We all remember Kobe and Dwight taking jabs at the whole superteam idea in the last year or two and where are they now?

Great insight Bilz, another segue to throw mud on Kobe. I bet you also feel Kobe's back to back championship team was stacked too huh? The Big 3 of Kobe, Pau and Fish.

Kobe's "Superteam" came via trades, not players leaving to join. Nash, Dwight and Pau didn't all say "hey let's leave our teams and go to LA and play with Kobe." So he can embrace the Superteam method.

They were middle of the pack before and after Clyde came

remember when the trade happened no one on the team was feelin the deal cause Thorpe was a big part of the team

i thought they could have repeated..maybe Maxwell wouldnt have had that meltdown in the playoffs and quit the squad like he did

I WAS NEVER FOR THE BARKLEY DEAL

I know nikkaz stop fukkin with the Rockets cause of the deal, they gave away too much for that old nikka with no work ethic
