He would've killed 2 birds with 1 stone.

  1. Getting the easy fight with a fighter who isnt coming to lay down...but isnt on his skill level and possesses 0 power, so Floyd could walk him down and finish his career with an exciting KO win.
  2. Knocking Cuenca out of the race to finish his career with a better win-loss record than Floyd and setting the record for most wins, with no losses, all-time.

Floyd should do it for his 50th fight:sas2:

Would've been a good warm-up fight before a 50th fight with a big name that he can negotiate a new one-fight contract for

I don't know if it's that big of an if. Not like Patterson moved around that much

His power, peekaboo style, & speed would've been a major problem for Rock. Look at this combo from 1:22-1:25. I've seen Mike Tyson do this exact same one

then why is larry holmes a punchline when he was 48-0 before he lost

also why would heavyweight be more impressive, if there was a heavyweight 50-0 right now, nobody would care because the heavyweight division is fukking trash

hagler's comments are clearly out of envy, he also said pac would beat floyd, when anybody with a shred of intelligence new manny wouldn't be able to get to him

what makes you say that, I didn't even mention him

I was responding to the guy saying a heavyweight today with mayweather's record would be more impressive
when nobody said Larry Holmes was better than Ali when he was 48-0 even if tied rocky marciano's record he wouldn't have been looked at as more impressive than sugar ray robinson

where do you guys draw these baseless obversvations from

I saw rocky marciano's footage, the little which is available, he was basic, he beat an old ass joe louis, and nobody can name one fighter he fought other than him, it's the picking of choosing when to question's one resume, when Mayweather has beating more hall of famers than Hagler and Rocky Marciano combined

you can't compare modern heavyweights to rocky's area, because they got bigger over time, marciano would have to cut down to middle weight in modern boxing most he weighed was like 188 pounds and he was short

Floyd is one of my favorites but if Pete Rademacher can do what he did, I'll give Rocky a chance

:francis:Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, and Archie Moore. All three are Hall of Famers

Did you notice the size difference between the two? Him & Rock would be the same size but Rock had short arms. Totally different kind of fight. And look what happened to Pete in the 6th :sas2:
:martin: You don't telling me nothing I don't already know. The point is you can get in close and trade with Patterson. Rocky was the type to throw anywhere and keep coming forward. He would probably be forced to box on the outside
