I stopped listening to this chick after her 5455333th ep/album release or whatever the fukk she wants to call them. Her music started sounding samey and mid but she’s talented enough to move away from this generic contemporary sound. If she ever does, she should go all in with thundercat.That track with Thundercat is so smooth
She needs to take control of her music. This sounds like something the label wanted.
Also, key to a great R&B album is great production or backing band. This album has neither.

After “my own” I only like "mean it", “process” and of course "slide". the back half of this album sucks.
She would benefit from working with one producer, Mariah and JD, Janet and jimmy jam/Terry Lewis, Toni and Babyface...

Slide actually grew on me I didn't like it at first because it was a lil different for HER.
Looking back now though that was probably the start of the label pushing her towards a more Commercial/Younger demographic.
In turn this opened the gates for Trap/Autotune HER. Hopefully they learn from this release we aren't trying to hear all that.

Jazmine Sullivan, another RCA artist sold 43,000 first week with a tenth of the promo HER has received. This is a major L for artist and label.
That being said i enjoyed the music on here. Its a bit all over but i like the album. Not sure what to replay tho.
