Thought it was gonna be one of these.
Can't imagine paying 5k for that bullshyt. Ain't shyt it can even have to warrant that price back then.
The weight of TVs came a long way. It took two people to carry a 32” back then

Manufacturing was not evolved enough to the level it would get to where mass production could offset cost. Components were more expensive as well.They really taxed for name brands.

I had my classic NES system hooked up to that. Literally played duck hunt on that exact tv.Those TVs lasted forever. If you had some pliers and aluminum foil you could add another three years to those

TVs are only cheap so you will go out and by one and they make their money back by talking you into subscriptions and selling the data they collect on you through your TVThat’s crazy , you can cop a 65 inch 4k tv today for 400 -450 bucks
