Update or completely uninstall your java brehs :damn:

And if you update it, completely uninstall it first because just downloading it leaves the old version installed for intrusions

This is the second damn laptop to come across me that's plagued with viruses and there's like 5 different versions of java installed

Also, some things I keep on my thumb drives to add to this thread:
ADWCleaner (life saver)
FRST (experts only)
Rouge Killer

Great thread btw

..........fukking hate windows... But then again, if it wasn't for them, I'd probably be out of a job, lol (not really)

Roguekiller...underrated

malwarebytes don't catch everything

They always give you the option to download adware or not. All you have to do is uncheck it.

I'm not someone's grandma haha. I always click the absolute bare minimum of options, and there's no way I missed the 4 bullshyt programs that came with the actual program I wanted

Well your browsing speed depends on a couple of things the most important being whats speed you getting from your internet provider, you can go here

http://www.speedtest.net/
and test your speed the more important # is your download speed , this can range anywhere from :flabbynsick 1mbs up to :wow:100mbs + most people have t in between from 15mbs-50mbs ,

After that the browser your are using is very important I know a lot dudes on here on super secret spy agents who lead double life's and need the most secure browser nasa has to offer lol but to me the best browser out right now its Google Chrome , if that's not what your using i would switch to it now . Chrome has these things called extensions think of them as apps for your browsers, the three MUST HAVE extensions for chrome are

Adblock - blocks ads
Adblock + element hiding helper- blocks web pages from installing malicious things on your computer through your browser
Shield for chrome - stops websites from installing extensions that have malware , spyware

Last step to make sure your browsing speed is working at its max its to keep it clean from spyware / malware, I already provided the guide to do that on the first page

Now speaking of start up speeds again keep your computer free of spyware/malware if very important , next thing is to uninstall program that slow up your start up this is so simple and another thing people never do , this is the SECOND thing i do when am working on someones computer. Go to setting - control panel - uninstall program I use a real easy rule of thumb if i don't use the app it gets uninstalled no exceptions don't be too worry bout apps that have the same name as your computer manufacture, uninstall them shyts too. If there is anything your not sure about like HP SPECIAL NETWORK APP 123 or something google it to see its function if not something you need it to do uninstall it

Once you uninstall them use the app CC CLEANER that i linked on the first page to go through and finish flushing out files left behind by those apps.
I think one of these extensions installed that Conduit Search shyt. Any way I could get rid of it without uninstalling the extensions?

I highly doubt those three extension installed anything else, those are three very legit extensions adblock and the elements hider have millions of installs each. Did you get them from the chrome webstore?

I would Uninstall anyways just to check but like I said I doubt it

I did. Think I'm gonna uninstall everything, re-install the browser & see if the same problem takes place

Great Thread.... I had some free time so I downloaded all the shyt from the First Page

Found alot of BS on my computer...That Conduit bullshyt and this shyt that was driving me crazy called mysearchdial...

Found them and got rid of them and my CPU has been running alot smoother

Malwarebytes seemed to have caught the most shyt, good looking out :salute:
