Here we go. For all the shyt Gucci tries to talk and shots he throws at Jeezy he can't deny he tried and failed to do what Jeezy did by blowing up and now that he's failed numerous times he actin like he dont need the industry nah nikka the industry dont want you. Real talk who gonna invest millions of dollars to an album project when the main nikka keep going to jail getting lightning ice cream tatts on his face? Real talk Gucci has peaked and he aint ever gonna grab that momentum he had back in 07-10. He keep releasing all these mixtapes and they good for a week or two and forgotten about *coughTrapBackcough*. He just can't get to the next level. I won't even get into the legend talk....I'll just say when its all said and done Jeezy will be remembered more than Gucci. Now watch cats start acting like its 08 and start claiming Gucci better.
The shyt is funny, obviously that Jeezy/Gucci conversation wasn't really sincere, Gucci had his back to the wall and was locked, and Drama probably offered him some quid/pro situation if he got on the phone. He sounded more sincere then Jeezy. As far as an interviewee, dude is unprofessional, just a complete ass, but he's 'real', just uneducated and unpolished. It is funny though.
No I'm not saying that. Let me clarify back during the whole Gucci craze nikkas were parading on SOHH with all kinds of Gucci threads and screen names shytting on Jeezy saying Gucci was better and Zaytoven was the next nikka and better than Shawty Redd. I think Gucci had the potential and momentum to be just as big or even bigger than Jeezy on a national level but time and time again he's delivered dud ass albums and just done stupid shyt to get locked up. Real talk when Gucci is focused he's a monster and can flow his ass off (Trap Back mixtape was the shyt) but for whatever reason when it comes to his solos they suck. Its like he has too many people in his ear telling him what he should do (like he already admitted to in this video) when I think really his style isn't easy to crossover. Either he's all the way trap Gucci or nothing and thats his gift and curse. Hardly no one can touch Gucci when he in full trap mode but when you hitting nikkas over the head with it for 8+ mixtapes and then its time for you to expand and do a major album the nikka stuck on stupid.

On some rap shyt..Gucci's pretty much always been better than Jeezy, back in '08...now...prolly five years from now...Gucci can legitimately spazz on a track ...Jeezy's draw is being relatable and saying "real shyt", not on dope rhymes or flow or wit or cleverness or anything like that

But in 08 jeezy moved a million units, had the biggest hiphop feature probably with Usher, had top singles, was on all the channels, had the streets on lock and all that. Gucci was completely irrelevant in 08 it was all about Wayne, Tip and then Jeezy.
I said when he's focused. He doesnt do it often but go listen to Trap Back and Plain Jane.

bring up that classic thread from the old site with jeezys quotes. Clever/funny/real lines was all he had back in 04/05/06. It's embarrassing to see people compare them they're in two different leagues one goes toe to toe with Hov, Cube and Nas on songs, the other gets killed by flocka flame on tracks.
