well speak for yourself, im black and i have no problem being an oppressive, capitalistic, individualistic

i wouldnt stab anybody in the back, but i would put my interests ahead of others

black capitalism is actually the biggest threat to white supremacy

conservatism has its good and bad points just like liberalism, the notion that black people are beholden to any particular political view is stupid

Smh...go read "The Business of Black Power" then get back to me on this topic....

as youve pointed out a couple of times, you have to define culture

lets take an extreme example, let's take one of the indian tribes that are are just now making contact with the modern world, lets say they come to america, i dont think having a culture or engaging in group economics will allow them to succeed unless they educated themselves and got up to speed with the modern world, even if they open up joint business, their lack of education and understanding of the modern world would hamper their efforts

having a common culture is good because it makes it easier to organize but if these indians dont organize themselves around education, they would not thrive in the modern world regardless of their common culture or any attempts at group economics

black people are in the same situation, less extreme but the principles still applies that education and skills are the fundamental things that make a community prosperous

so the cultural shift we have to make is about education
:ehh: Agreed, but currently there is no vehicle for this shift, or any shift among the black community. In fact the best medium we have to communicate and begin a shift of any kind is rap.
This alone speaks volumes.

yeah, all you have to do is look at the suge knight nikka incident to know rap isnt the way forward and a step backwards for black people, but i still have hope for hip hop culture (the hip hop of KRS-ONE and 9 elements hip hop)

but yeah if being black means being a real nikka, and being a real nikka doesnt include getting good grades, then black people are screwed

because any group, community or nation that practices capitalism will become economically powerful

if we were to become "economically powerful" as a group, in your opinion, how would that threaten White supremacy as a system?

black capitalism is actually the biggest threat to white supremacy and any community that doesnt practice capitalism will lose, black people being a prime example of that so therefore black people need to double down on capitalism not stay away from it, staying away from capitalism or being prevented from practicing capitalism is why we are in the economic state we are in today

conservatism has its good and bad points just like liberalism, the notion that black people are beholden to any particular political view is stupid

Thank you I wasn't about to rescue him from the Matrix, he'd rather take the blue pill.

Oh it isnt a positive medium atm, but if you have a message for the black community, putting it in a rap song is your best bet, easily.

almost 1.1 Trillion dollars ...in the ghetto and black middle class and among black elite. Plus a direct line of intelligence into the black community would be shut down. They would have to rely solely on interpersonal communication and be FORCED to LEARN how interact with blacks in a non-superficial or placating way.

It's why they killed Harlem, Huey and Malcolm ...they were examples of a thriving black network for generations completely non-reliant on white American insight or input.

The markets were freer then, with less regulation and licencing requirements. Such an operation today wouldnt be possible, even if we were committed.
At some point a govt. cac would have to approve everything. :manny:

i think that questions answers itself, white supremacy is an illusion but white economic dominance is the basis of that illusion and the reason why people believe it, im not really sure why i have to explain that, i would think that's obvious

seeing a black person being equally economically is the worst thing that could happen to a white supremacist

Smh...go read "The Business of Black Power" then get back to me on this topic....

this is HL, you are free to elaborate

what is it that you think me and other posters would get from this book?

The Business of Black Power emphasizes the centrality of economic goals to the larger black freedom movement and explores the myriad forms of business development in the Black power era. This volume charts a new course for Black power studies and business history, exploring both the business ventures that Black power fostered and the impact of Black power on the nation's business world. Black activists pressed business leaders, corporations, and various levels of government into supporting a range of economic development ventures, from Black entrepreneurship, to grassroots experiments in economic self-determination, to indigenous attempts to rebuild inner-city markets in the wake of disinvestment. They pioneered new economic and development strategies, often in concert with corporate executives and public officials. Yet these same actors also engaged in fierce debates over the role of business in strengthening the movement, and some African Americans outright rejected capitalism or collaboration with business. The seven scholars in this collection bring fresh analysis to this complex intersection of African American and business history to reveal how Black power advocates, or those purporting a Black power agenda, engaged business to advance their economic, political, and social goals. They show the business of Black power taking place in the streets, boardrooms, journals and periodicals, corporations, courts, and housing projects of America. In short, few were left untouched by the influence of this movement.

If white supremacist see their system of white supremacy being threatened, how do you think they'll respond?

If there's a large thriving community of Black people excelling without the help of White people, do White people just look the other way and get upset?

do they sit back and allow their illusion to fail or be exposed?

The Asian community has already proven that there is no "white superiority barrier" as is often suggested. They consistently outperform whites in many areas, receive more grants, and are approved for loans at a higher rate than whites.

:ehh: In order to keep our narrative going, we would have to classify Asians as white...:mjpls:
