"Grinding" in video games unappreciation thread

There isnt true grinding in Skyrim. If by grinding you mean you want the best sword and magic in the game an hour after starting then thats not a grinding complaint thats just being lazy and wanting a cheat code.

that's how I feel about a lot of it. at some point it's just an exploit

my girls brother is a heavy wow nerd, so he tried to put me onto it, i'm down to play any game at least once. that shyt had me like I thought i was gonna be on some wizard of oz type shyt but it was like kill 10 wolves, kill 10 midget nikkas, kill 20 wolf midget nikkas, kill 30 wolf midget werewolf nikkas. that shyt was WACK. I can't even get past whiterun in skyrim, i got 0 chance doing ANYTHING in a fukkin mmo.

I'm at the fact that nikkas can play that shyt 13-15 hours a day.

The fun part about MMO's is sonning other people in PvP (player versus player) combat. Doing dungeons with a competent squad is pretty fun too

But grinding for 4+ hours to fill up half of your experience bar

I aint hatin breh, I just couldn't play that all day. Gimmie something for me and i'd prolly sit on that bytch all day too.

but yeah, that's what he said, once you start shyttin on nikkas in pvp, it's fun. He's been tryna get me to give it another chance with that kung fu panda shyt expansion that's about to come out, i prolly will. mmo games seem like you gotta have your nikkas with you at all times otherwise you be like a mothafukker.

These RPGs need better bestiaries if they are going to make you do maximum grind time. Nothing is more exciting than discovering a new, fascinating mob. And nothing is more frustrating than fighting that same mob 1,685 times.

doing 40-man raids in WoW was

Taking 2 weeks to down these nikkas:

1 shotting warriors with chain lightning because I had the best gear in the game

The magic of WoW died with each expansion pack and with getting older with less time to play.

i always liked grinding, i would grind for hours and be overpowered early in games and just shyt on nikkas

I used to love doing this on FF8. So easy to become so powerful early on in that game if you knew what you were doing.

My bad, I was I worked out how easy to abuse that game was though. I did grind to beat Omega Weapon though.
