Grinding (video gaming) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

shyt is a large part of the reason why I kinda fell back from Skyrim and I haven't started Infamous 2 yet. I don't feel like having to get my attributes up just to fight nikkas man. This is a video game, these pixelated nikkas shoulda been prepared beforehand. Wish all games were more like Uncharted/Gears where all u gotta do is have skills and press buttons in the right sequences without worrying about whether ur player is strong enough to fight a particular boss or enemy

:snoop:

Still haven't even ended FFX (PS2) because my team ain't where they suppose to be :upsetfavre:
This is usually the reason which keeps me from finishing RPGs. Gets tedious and boring after awhile and at times, I get annoyed by doing a bunch of non story-progressing shyt just to get stronger, even at times if fighting the enemies is fun (which in RPGs, it can get boring real quick).

Same here. Same way in FFXIII-2. I'm maxed out there too. I was looking untouchable until those coliseum battles had me all :flabbynsick:

I've been meaning to go back and try maxing everyone out, but the cost of monster materials adds up way too fast :why:. Since I don't know of any good place to grind for money, I'm always broke :to:

This is exactly why I glitched in skyrim and exactly why my hat that allows me create potions that are 4598% stronger has me :win: even after the update.

I got no problem grinding to get brolick unless it's taking me to a lot of places.

In Kingdom Hearts, to beat Sephiroth in the Coliseum you needed the toughest keyblade (one you have to make yourself :damn:), 70+ level, and have some certain abilities equipped to have a fighting chance.

shyt was a nightmare when I was preparing to face dude. Gotta go all over finding materials to make the Ultima Keyblade, doing levels over and over again to gain EXP :snoop:

When you reach Seph it's a desperate battle this nikka dropping critical damage on you, making you sip on health potions or curing yourself with magic like crazy no matter how long your health bar is.

And I'm looking at this nikkas health bar which was on some 17 layer shyt like :wtf:

fukk all that grindin' shyt. As soon as I learn some exploit to get heavy cake to cop whatever, it's a wrap.

- Resident Evil 5 = rotten eggs
- Dead Space = money glitch

Just found out about the combo glitch in Hard Corps: Uprising to get mad CP for all the powerups etc :lolbron:

I understand devs want to extend the replay value of their games, but I don't want to spend all that time gettin' my weight up. I'm just tryna have fun out here :childplease:

Man, Final Fantasy XII KILLED me with this sometimes. I'm not really a huge fan of grinding, so I have to trick myself into doing it when I play RPGs. Therefore, I'd alternate between main gameplay and Clan Centurio hunts to keep my party beefed up...and even then shyt'd just have me :deadrose:. Entites, random encounters with Anchags and other crazy high level rare monsters WHILE you're trying to level/fight somebody else. Just hateable.

Example early in the game:

*Kills all monsters in a certain area*
*Leaves*
*Comes back*
*Anchag spawns*
Epic: :ehh: Hey, I should fight and add it to my bestiary.
*Engages*
*Anchag wipes out party*
Epic: :scusthov::damn:

And this is a very minor example. Engage an Entite. You'll last seconds.

That Nihorem combo saved my ass so many times when I was improperly leveled...and even then I still got my ass kicked.
