Probably my worst grindin' experience ever was when I was farmin' red orbs in DMC3 for PS2 (when it first came out). I played that 3rd mission so many times until I maxed everything out. Ended up rushin' through the rest of the game just to get it over with. Played halfway through Hard mode and haven't touched it since :snoop:

I like old school emulators so I can alternate games on em and grind without getting completely impatient with the process. 7th Saga is requires a stupid amount of grinding. Meanwhile Shining Force 2 actually isn't half bad to grind through imo. Honestly, I rarely grind on a first play through unless I absolutely must. After I beat a game once, I'll use a guide and try to beat it fully that way if I really like it...rarely do I get through a second play through like that though.

Of course but you dont need to grind to just play and beat the game. The super weapons shouldnt just be handed to you without doing any work.

Yeah, when you're playing a good game, you don't have to "grind". Games like Skyrim and Mass Effect are RPG's where you level up and stuff, but if you just play the game normally, you will unlock those better abilities over time.

In a true "grinding" game, you can't even pass certain bosses if you aren't a high enough level. The Final Fantasy series is guilty of this... you have to walk around fighting random battles over and over in some of their installments.

I also enjoy grinding

Seeing your character slowly develop into a demi-god is pure entertainment to me

Only grind that really has me like :merchant: are MMORPG's

my girls brother is a heavy wow nerd, so he tried to put me onto it, i'm down to play any game at least once. that shyt had me like :sadbron: I thought i was gonna be on some wizard of oz type shyt but it was like kill 10 wolves, kill 10 midget nikkas, kill 20 wolf midget nikkas, kill 30 wolf midget werewolf nikkas. that shyt was WACK. I can't even get past whiterun in skyrim, i got 0 chance doing ANYTHING in a fukkin mmo.

I'm :merchant: at the fact that nikkas can play that shyt 13-15 hours a day.

too much grinding in Skyrim kinda ruins the game

There isnt true grinding in Skyrim. If by grinding you mean you want the best sword and magic in the game an hour after starting then thats not a grinding complaint thats just being lazy and wanting a cheat code.

I am NOT a sex offender
Same here. Same way in FFXIII-2. I'm maxed out there too. I was looking untouchable until those coliseum battles had me all :flabbynsick:
I found grinding in FFXIII-2 to be pretty painless and fun. I just fought Feral Behemoth's forever in Yaschas Massif and got my level super high and stormed right through the game. Everything was great until I tried my hand at the Coliseum. All I wanted was to get Lightning as a monster I could use. :to:
