I'll leave this in here
I was waiting somewhere this week, and a kid is next to me, has a bag from a book store, like I do, and he strikes up a convo
Nice kid, at least 15 years younger than me, you can tell he's bright and outgoing type, he asks what I got from the bookstore
I show him, and ask the same. He pulls out three Jordan Peterson books, and after a quick convo says they aren't really for me, but my friend.
I thought the best thing I could tell him was to read some books from women. Read your Peterson, but read some books from women about their lives and stories and their perspectives. Read a memoir about sexual assault, or just essays about women growing up.
He seemed to take it, and asked for some recommendations. Still it left me unsettled.
