i bookmarked that page for coffee tomorrow. best thread in a minute. we should branch this off into Spoonie Gee too. All that enjoy records stuff.

I never could lock down essential Busy Bee stuff either. Only his over the hill shyt from the late 80's ever seems available. I had Moe Dee roasting him on a tape.

Yes we should definitely branch this off into the other pioneers and sometimes forgotten artists. I would love to hear some of the history that was a bit before my time. Really enjoying these Cold Crush Brothers tapes, a great listen, it makes coming to the forum worthwhile when sharing knowledge/information/music etc and that's one of the best aspects of a forum when used effectively. Yeah likewise I'd really like to hear some of Busy Bee's work, I've only really heard the Kool Moe Dee battle and some of his newer work with KRS for instance, but I know he was looked at as a dope party MC at least and a character so it would be good history to see. I didn't think nobody would reply to this thread but was pleasantly surprised and very pleased to finally hear some of this work/history.

I noticed how advanced and ill some of the Cold Crush Brothers routines/melodies were, really pioneered a lot you can tell immediately.

I live for these kind of threads. I got some shyt. Some is only on cassette though. I have a Treacherous Three album on tape.

Ill, yeah I'd love to hear that Treacherous Three album, have heard they pioneered a lot too. I only have some of the records, don't have any full tapes of them.
