The weather isn't the same during that race. I've been caught in downpours around the 3rd lap and have to change my tires. I can only get high as 6th place

This never happened to me until today when I played the 25 anniversary racing. Also, I always have my display all off in GT7 on LG C1 Oled to avoid burn in

Lmao you been missing out in half the game then. I would say all of the high payout races involve this meta gameplay. There's a reason why the UI got so much going on.

Some races involve you watching the weather radar and estimating when you need to swap tires to wet tires or intermediate tires (the 500k race in France).

When you select the tires don't press anything else. It will fill it after they change tires
