I don't think the G29 is compatible, I think you need the G920, which I don't think is compatible with PlayStation.
Right. Far as I understand, all of these steeringwheels are locked to specific platforms.
I wish I could use my PS5 wheel on Series X from time to time.
I got it specifically for GT7 and PSVR 2 but running Forza would be great.

How do you get the G29 to work with GT7 and Forza?
I got friends that don't have a PS5 and I wanted to play Forza with them from time to time.

Depends on what G29 you have, I have the Playstation/PC version, works just fine with the PS4/PS5, all my pc games from the Microsoft store or Steam (Forza, ACC, etc.) the wheel works with no issues.

Oh OK.
I guess I can try it out on my PC then.
I typically just play xbox games on xbox.

Yep, I was actually going to get the XBOX version of the wheel and buy a XB system (wanted Forza) , poster on here told me all the games are in the Microsoft store for the pc. Saved me from buying another wheel and a new system.

If you decided to spend money on Fanatec then you can just buy different wheel rims but use the same wheel base. But they will rape your wallet.

The roulette wheel is so laughably rigged, that I think I'm finally convinced to put the game down for a bit. I just got an Aston Martin invite two Mondays in a row. :to:

Appreciate it, yea, once you start putting seats, wheels, and pedals together, it's a whole different level of gaming. I have had my Playseat Evolution racing sim and Logitech G29 wheel/shifter/pedals for a few years now, love it. I know this the GT7 thread but the wheels and pedals will work for most if not all racing games out there : Forza, I-Racing, Assetto Corsa, etc.
How is Assetto Corsa compared to GT7? I see it’s on the PS+ Catalog.

I think Assetto Corsa is sort of underwhelming on consoles - at least I didn't care much for it on Xbox. If you get it on PC it's almost a must to mod. Assetto Corsa Competizione felt like a much better game but it's all GT class racing

Rep for the links. Bookmarked when I save enough on the side to buy. :salute:

Understandable breh. You got to be invested into having a great experience with a game. I'm ready to spend a good bit with GT7 since NFS just not cutting for me anymore. I'm having more fun getting all the licenses than the NFS campaign. :obama:

I was reading about the PSVR2 experience, and it sounds really good. I might go for that first. :leon:
I copped a fanatec setup last year and that shyt makes a major difference. I can't even imagine driving with a controller these days.

I started out with the logitech joint but the Fanatec is a major upgrade :whoo:

I think a much better overall sim racer, atleast on PC it supports triple monitor setup. Sony probably would have wanted and arm and leg and 1st born if they add in the software and hardware to run a triple setup for GT7
