Unfortuantely no. It doesn't break down African or Asian yet. Only European. Probably cause their customer base is majority European. But if more people of African descent purchase a DNA test, maybe they will put more work into our ancestry. There are free 3rd party tools that u can use with your 23andme results tho to see an African breakdown. 23andme is a good product for 100 bucks. I did it for free tho

yeah 23andme is very cool, i did it back then when they had it free for black people and made a thread about it on a couple of people did it to, and the mcdougal thing also

Is this test worth it for Africans? I'm Kenyan, will it break down what percentage of East African, Bantu etc. I am?

Please do test. I found three cousins over there, so I'm glad there are continental African's in the database.

They've stated the African and Asian breakdowns are coming. Before they just broke everyone down into European, Asian, and/or African, but only a few months ago they unveiled Ancestry Composition, started breaking the European down, and created a separate Asian-Native American subgroup.
