Shout out to the og's, máximum repeck.

You new nikkas stay out of my way outchea. If I have to pass you on the outside lane I'm going to hug the line the whole pass, hit you with the :birdman: when we're window to window and then cut you off with my trailer missing your tractor by inches.

If I have to wait all day while you back in at a truck stop, I'm going to unhook all your pigtails in the middle of the night. You better pretrip bytch.

If you have the nerve to clean your windshield after you fuel instead of doing it while you fuel, I'm going to catch you on the road and throw a 6 inch cold cut combo on your window in traffic.

Don't cross these lines and we can be pals.

Where yall at now?

And which company has the most black drivers?

Also, is swift that bad?

And is OTR that bad?

1. I haul tankers

2. To be honest, the trucking business is really multicultural. But oddly enough, the company Greyhound has ALOT of black bus drivers

3. Swift isn't bad if you want a train to get your CDL and have 0 experience

4. OTR depends on you honestly. If you're the type that likes the travel, and no set hours, don't want to see your boss every week, then it's perfect

That's exactly what I'm going to do deliver diesel and DEF to truck places. I tried getting on at airports to fuel but was overqualified even for places that didn't require CDL.

For some odd reason I miss pumping gas and pulling hose.:lolbron:

Same here :heh:

From someone who driven diff trucks. Dry Van, Tanker, Flatbed, etc.... Tanker is by far the most relaxing and simple. The only stress is don't spill oil. I swear hauling Tankers middle name should be "Down Time" :lolbron:

Of course it exists but if you think you can just put the driver less version on the road so fast in this age of safety regulations then you are misinformed.

We arent in the 60s when safety regulations were more relaxed.

Safety regulations? Driverless trucks will be safer than human drivers. That's one of the main benefits. A trucker ran me off the road today and wouldn't let me merge in front of him because he had road rage. You won't have shyt like that with automated trucks. Automated trucks also can drive 24 hours without sleep or pee breaks

A fleet of driverless trucks just drove across Europe with no accidents :sas1: : The driverless truck is coming, and it’s going to automate millions of jobs

Europe isnt America dumbass. They have different safetety regulations and different funding for the trucks expensive tech and road maintenance.

Safety regulations doesnt care about your personal experiences or opinion. :russ:

Wtf are you talking about my dude. Automated trucks are SAFER than human drivers. Robots don't make mistakes or get tired. Not sure what's hold to understand about that. The ONLY thing that will slow this down in America is dumb nikkas like yourself bytching about technological advancements because they :flabbynsick:. Ultimately though $$$$ talks and shipping/technology lobbyists will grease the pockets of your local congressman/senator and this shyt will be a go. You can be illogical and mad or adapt when shyt is clear as day :manny:. Outside of UPS/FedEx ain't no strong trucker unions fam, this shyt is only a matter of time. shyt there ARE manufacturing unions and alot of them jobs added assembly line robots and moved the rest of the jobs to mexico via NAFTA. :mjlol:@ nikkas thinking regulators/government give a fukk about blue collar jobs

You an argue with me all you want but we both know that it will take 20 to 30 years at the least for this to pass.

I know your probably not in any fieldwork but

All of this hope you have when safety regulations will be all over this if anybody tries to rush it. Yet even when it passes most trucking companies wont have the money to switch for a long time either.

Trucks have big hauls and can swerve and tip in many ways from slips to slides, cargo tilt to other drivers on the road, debris in the road, construction on the road etc that changes DAILY.

Self driving cars arent even on the road yet and you think self driving trucks will be there first? Thats funny.

Im at 1.5 years in OTR. i would recommend it to anybody young wit no kid and single. Live out ya truck and watch the $$$ pile up. The freedom is what i love the most. I start and end my days pretty much when i want to. No bosses looking over my shoulders and best of all NO COWORKERS. No gossip and drama. Nobody all up in my business or having to depend on anybody else. Also, there's no dress codes, for most companies. I wear what i want and i can do what i want with my hair. Hell, if i want to get a shytload of tattoos i could. COMPLETE FREEDOM:blessed:

i got a daughter and paying $225/week in daycare:mjcry: so my $$$ aint where it COULD be if i didnt have a kid.

I :mjcry: everytime i think about how much dough i could have right now if i didnt have a kid. Thats why i talk to these young black dudes every chance i get. Get this $$$ while you single and no kids and stack that paper. Sacrifice 2 years for your future.

If you aint got no kids or big payments you can have a good chunk of change after 1 year.

I moved out my apt when i went to CDL school. My car was paid off also. All the expenses i have is daycare, food, phone bill and car insurance.

You get paid by the mile so dont expect to make that much your 1st year with your 1st company. After you get 1 year experience you can go to another company that requires experience and make more per mile. Thats what i did. Your 1st year should be all about experience, getting comfortable with the truck and STAYING ACCIDENT FREE. There;s different endorsements also (hazmat, doubles/triples, tanker, etc) that you can obtain for more $$$ also
