Taking a DNA test to find how much "cac" is in you is being self secure in your own race?
Seems the opposite to me, it seems sad that this is so heavily tied into some people's identities that they react like some of the people in this thread.
(Not the ones interested in finding out about their african lineage to research their heritage)
I feel like this about anyone hung up on dna test results though.

who said its to find out how much cac a person has in them? op pointed out he has cac in him but that wasn't the reason for him taking the test. course you just see the word cac and cant help but

Ancestry.Com is actually pretty dope if you are into digging back on your history.

You can find out a lot of shyt through med records, birth and death certificates.

Copped some feels when I came across my Great Great Grandfather's draft card for one of the World Wars.

Creating your own family tree and building on it is dope.

You dont even have to buy just sign up for the trial and do all you can before it runs out.

But the "tracing" process is not as accurate as folks make it out to be. It is too limited in data and lacks structuring to distinguish a specific lineage in a single person's vast family tree. It's all a scam

What's funny is my whole life i've been told that we have 'indian in our family' from both sides of my parentage. From our nose, skin color, hair texture, and somewhat our eyes (on my moms side at least). I used to believe that shyt. It was easy to do especially if you see the women on my moms side...
Turns out a nikka got ONE PERCENT Native American blood.

On a serious tip these databases are proprietary. If I'm not mistaken you could conceivably go to multiple companies, and get slightly different results. You have to jump to the 28 minute mark of the first video, and the 6 minute mark of the second video. Just like any database, output is contingent on the inputs. Native Americans are essentially Asians, so that's why some people are told they have Asian dna.

Yea i heard that AA should have 15-25 percent cac blood so i was pleasantly shocked. The farthest i could trace my ancestry was to my great grandfather on my mothers fathers side. His name was Ferdinand Christopher McClendon and all my aunt could tell me is that he told her he came to America (Louisiana) as a kid on a 'banana boat'. I assume he's from one of the caribbean islands but i never found out which one

I would say 70% African Americans would have 12-20% Caucasian ancestry. I would estimate that 30% African Americans that have >20% Cac ancestry.
