Dolphin brehs if cam newton is healthy is it really a big issue to bring him in? I know you have fitzmagic but with the Moves you’ve made in free agency couldn’t you bring in cam for a season? Or is this the year you draft the QB at 5/trade up for Tua?

also did Rosen show anything and just had inferior talent on the line and couldn’t produce like a vet like fitz or is he really just bad?
I'm not a fan of bringing in big names just for the sake of bringing them in. Especially when they are on the back-end of their careers. While Cam still has plenty left in the tank but his salary doesnt fit our budget right now. The plan is to draft a QB. I'm not gonna change my future plans for an over-the-hill Cam freakin Newton.

As for Rosen, he;s just not the type of QB Flores wants. He's a Tom Brady-esque stand in the pocket QB. Flores wants a mobile QB according to sources. Rosen was O'Shea's pick and Oshea failed to make his case for Rosen at QB. Thus way he's gone.

One week out.

i personally prefer we stand pat at 5 and don't trade up. We take Whoever we feel comfortable taking and it does not have to be Tua. I'm concerned about his health too so i wouldnt blame them for passing on him even tho i want us to take him at 5.

As for the 18th and 26th pick if the OTs and DLs we want arent there I say see who's desperate to give up a 1st rounder next year or multiple 2nd rounders this and next year for them. I want to create a stream of future picks from all these assets just like that GM from CLE (I believe) turned 1 late 1st round pick into 12 different top 3 round picks including 3 1sts over a 4 year span.

All in all...stay at 5 and Tua doesnt have to be it

Honestly I’m not a dolphin fan but with your assets just stand pat...And later in the draft after your first 9-10 picks start trading the other picks for future picks...

I would not be upset if a team in your situation didn’t even draft a QB at #5...What if you took a lineman instead or someone like Simmons...And took another lineman at #18 or a QB.

I see a scenario where you could get whichever lineman the giants don’t take if they go that direction at 5. And at 18 you can get a QB like Love if you like him to sit behind Fitz and Rosen. With 26 you can get another lineman maybe a RT or interior guy...Either way I don’t see any reason to trade up for Tua or Hebert If you even like him.

either way trading with my Bengals just isn’t an option. We would want far too much to even make it feasible and than at the same time we couldn’t even afford to pay the dudes anyway...We kind of have to take Burrow for the culture he’s a story for Ohio that writes it’s self.

We have to take a QB this year. Doesnt have to be at 5 but we have to. The team is projected to improve next year and dont wanna go up in the rankings without our future QB on the roster. We'll be picking later and would take too much draft capital to move up then. I feel we have to take a QB either at 5 or 18 which many feel will be wither Herbert, Tua, or Love

If Tua is busted up and Herbert is a hit or miss why not just try another season with Rose, He's still younger than Burrow.

Miami's draft pick next year in unlikely to be a top 10 pick.

Let's say we end up 8-8 and at best the 12th pick next year. What will it take to get the teams with the top 3 picks to trade with us from 12 to get Rose or whoever? another 1st? 2 1st round picks? Exactly. That's too costly of a trade to move up. You have a top 5 pick this year so do it now is my approach.

The dolphins and Texans pick and a 2nd do you think that can move you up for maybe fields or Lawrence next year?

I’ve bought this up before but is Jameis really that bad? He had his eye sight fixed and is very talented. Could you sign him for a season to compete?

I actually like Jameis but no thanks. :francis: I can only imagine him partying too miuch in Miami during holiday weekends and trying to fondle Uber drivers. He needs to go somewhere boring where he'll be focused

I am okay with Herbert and Cam. Tua, could barely last in college, dont see how he does in the NFL.

Plus Burrow and Tua were playing with elite talent.
