Y'all gonna have to trade up to #2
  1. Bengals are almost guaranteed to go Burrow
  2. I doubt the Redskins would draft a QB they CANNOT play immediately when they drafted one in the first round last year. It's one thing to draft Kyler Murray who is healthy and ready to go to replace Rosen. It's a whole other thing when you picking someone who is for sure NEEDS to sit a year +
  3. I'd like to think Patricia and the GM who are on their final warnings will take someone they HAVE TO SIT for a year. But what i fear is they they will trade the pick to stockpile pick so Dolphins have to be conscious of that and probably engage them to see what it'll take.
  4. Same with the Giants. I can just feel them willing to trade the pick to get more assets. So Dolphins have to gauge what they might want for the pick.

no point in doing so. I don't see any trading up for him if his injury is a concern.

The only way a trade should trade up to get Tua is if you have a bridge QB and a competent backup already in place and can let Tua sit for a year without any pressure to start.

Let Tua be the #3 QB this year behind Fitzpatrick and Rosen

They shouldn't give up more than a swap of picks and a 3rd rounder. His injury is still a concern and I'm still okay with giving Rosen a shot. If we miss out on him we could always grab Love with one of our later picks.

I agree with this, I'm not even down with swapping picks and a 2nd rounder but i just feel that that's what they'll have to give up.

I feel like they played their hand too early in showing everyone that they wanted Tua. Now Detroit and Giants are about to try and swindle them into moving up which I’m sure they won’t mind at all since the player they wanted will still be there.

I just don’t see either team or even a different one jumping up to take Tua because of the hip injury even if he is cleared by doctors.

Well the showing their hand part was Ross himself so I don't blame Grier for this at all

In hindsight, they probably shouldn’t have won that last game against the Patriots, but it helped the coaches and players in the locker room’s overall morale by doing so.
Even without that win they still would have been picking 5th, remember. By halftime i cant remember who it was on the board but it was already determined that win or lose they were picking 5th so they went for the win. That was not the game that dropped them. I wanna say the Eagles game was it. But im not mad at Flores for going for wins. He has his credibility to look after in front of players. No player in that lockerroom can point to Flores and say he was tanking

It’s hard to tank in the NFL for a lot of reasons, so I’m glad that they didn’t go that route.

Question:

If Burrow, Tua, and Herbert are all on the board when we pick at #5, who would you take?

I know it's unlikely but just answer the question and if possible, why?

Dolphin brehs if cam newton is healthy is it really a big issue to bring him in? I know you have fitzmagic but with the Moves you’ve made in free agency couldn’t you bring in cam for a season? Or is this the year you draft the QB at 5/trade up for Tua?

also did Rosen show anything and just had inferior talent on the line and couldn’t produce like a vet like fitz or is he really just bad?
