None of us ever like seeing our crew catch L’s, but long term that’s what we needed to do if we can’t land the whale in free agency. They may be fun to watch, but to compete for a title, they need a guy who is mvp levels of good. The whole wave and Malta discussed it back in the spring. There’s been maybe 3-4 guys picked outside the top ten who could transform a franchise like that and only 14 teams since 1980 to make the finals without a current, past, or future mvp winner on the team and 6 of them reached the finals between 1999-2005. We gotta hope pat can make one more massive trade or signing without gutting the roster. Are there any real moves we can make?

They haven't even been that fun to watch this year forreal. Especially since Winslow & Bam aren't playing a whole lot. I don't know what moves to make but they're gonna have to do something

The whole tank talk has long been dead, it's about being competitive as possible. The Heat are in a tough place, just going have to ride a 40+ win season or two before we're forced to rebuild.

It definitely hurts watching one of our games and then watching the Warriors/Spurs/Celtics play. Our defense can be fun but we struggle on offense.

This team has very good ball movement. If you say when we ISO it's almost always Dragic and Waiters, then yes. THus why i feel like in order for winslow to do what he does best Spo should minimize the time he's on the floor with both these guys.

But what choice do we have unless JJ or Winslow arent on the floor? You throw it in to Hassan with 20 second sleft in the clock and it's going up matter what. Might as well try to break down the defense until a better shot opens up for someone. And again Dion and Dragic are the ones most likely to get that done because Winslow cant finish and JJ exels at it only in certain situations

Nah its definitely true. There are spurts when everyone is standing around watching Dragic as he waits for a ball screen to do something. The ball movement has been better when it's just Dragic on the floor or both Dragic/Waiters on the bench. It wouldn't be such a problem if they were top tier guys at their respective positions but we're not winning a lot of games solely depending on those 2 to shoulder the offense for 4 quarters. I've got no problem putting the ball in Waiters' hands in the 4th quarter or any clutch situation however.

They play well I'm transition. We don't. We're better in a slower pace. But for some reason tonight we seem to think we can keep up that tempo so rather than play at our place we try to go fast like them and fail miserably.
