I told y'all before the season how it would play out when you give bums a bunch of money

Should've made a move for kyrie :francis:
No.

I don't think we overpaid that much, really. That's just the market price for these players these days.

Only contracts I'm not happy about are the Tyler Johnson and Dion Waiters contracts and even those aren't that bad.

James Johnson's and Olynynks contracts are market value if you ask me.

Look at it this way: Kent Bazemore got 4 years $70M last year and now analysts think it's an ok contract. Tim Hardaway got even more than that

Winslow need more minutes at that point forward position I feel he is better than jj no disrespect
:usure:

Winslow's ceiling is way higher than JJ's but he needs time to fully develop. But if you wanna win NOW JJ is the way to go. Remember Winslow was out the whole time when the team caught fire last year.

And by you being concerned after 5 games I would guess you wanna win now.

There’s little doubt not having Whiteside around for the last four games has hurt Miami in regard to all of those numbers. The Heat ranks 21st in defensive rating (106.7), 24th in giving up points in the paint (48.8 points per game) and dead last in second chance points allowed (19.0).

Man. The absence of our "stat padding" center who doesn't play team defense and only cares about numbers was supposed to make our defense great again.

What happened? Gobert? Embiid?

:damn:

Damn, we had a team meeting this early in the season.

I hope Winslow aired them no defense playing nikkas out! Dragic, Waiters, TJ and sometimes Jrich have been fukking up on that end so much.

TJ has a great defensive motor, explosiveness, and straight tenacity but dude is overaggressive as fukk.

Waiters will play good to great defense for a few possessions but he'll start dragging, losing his men on off-ball action, and stop communicating.

The problem is that these cats haven't relied that playing that overly aggressive defense works when you have a 7'0 foot, elite rim protecting center, roaming around the paint.
