I believe in Winslow. I actually think he's in the same breed as Marcus Smart (Smart is a flopping fakkit though) because they're extremely cerebral and high IQ players that make winning plays, shots be damned.

Winslow's bag of tricks will grow and scoring will come. Hell, if he becomes a decent free throw shooter, his offensive value will skyrocket.

He is. JJ is craftier, a more polished scorer, and better in one on one situations but he's also not the decision maker Winslow is or the passer. JJ should be a mismatch playmaking option or used as an isolation scorer in spurts, not the main initiator of our offense.

Not really. There’s more of a chance that the stretch he had during the 2nd half last year was an outlier than it being the norm for him

Agreed on Winslow though. He’s my favorite player on the team

Waiters won me over. I trust in his ability to create for himself, off the dribble, when healthy and I think his style of play meshes well with our squad. I think he's trying too hard to help the team especially after his guilt from last year and needs to just shut it down.

I'll say playing .500 ball the first 10-15 games of the year would not bode well for this group moving forward, but there's still some time to get it sorted out. If this type of play continues nobody should be comfortable.

They paid JJ to be the point forward, and while Winslow might be a slightly better creator, he's still close to a non factor as a scoring threat. And he's not a Rondo level passer to be a threat when guys start playing off him.

Winslow needs touches. Below the rim finishers improve their finishing, timing, and learn how to use their bodies to thwart off defenders through experience. He also tends to show out when the pressure is on and he's in the moment so I got faith.

Anyone looking expendable or anyone you been wanting to make a move for?

If the current trend continues Waiters and TJ both look expendable. I can live with uneven play at the 2 guard coming from Richardson or McGruder, but not with guys that are getting paid 50 mil respectively. I'm not bashing either one, Waiters and TJ do compete but like I said during the game if the shots aren't falling I don't know what they're doing.

Gonna have to wait at least another month to see what teams start floundering to get an idea of who might become available, as of right now I don't really see anyone of interest
