He's proven he's a solid 6th man but aint no way he's a starting 2 guard in today's nba. that's not even a knock on him cause I really like him as a player, to go from undrafted to almost 20 mil per is amazing for him, but Riley definitely gotta finesse someone to take that contract from us.
Riley's loyalty is sometimes his biggest foe. That's why i wasnt mad at Wade for leaving.

I read that matching TJ's contract was Mickey's decision, not Riley's. Mickey loves TJ and didn't want him to leave for nothing in return.

EDIT:
Heat owner told Nets "You're not poaching" Johnson

"Micky said, 'You're not poaching any of my guys,' " Riley related, recalling a conversation Arison had with Nets brass. "And Micky made the decision. He loves Tyler. He's a young piece and part of our future. So we'll deal with years three and four, but years one and two we got him at a bargain."

"Micky loves him and he wanted him and made the decision to keep him," Riley added.

I dont expect much from Winslow on offense but i prefer to have him on Simmons than James Johnson. He's better on the ball at pestering Simmons from end to end. I find that Johnson sometimes lets Simmons get a head of steam and by the time he's getting up on him it's too late and Simmons barrels his way to the basket.

I typically prefer Johnson on the court over Winslow for his play-making and ability to FINISH plays but stopping Simmons is key in this series. I guess Spo can find him some minutes out there with Winslow

My confidence in Winslow's future development is at 100%. He can be a more dominant version of Tony Allen. That is good enough for me. :youngsabo:
Ive pretty much given up on Ustise ever being any kind of impact on offense in a way. How the fukk can you be (damn near) 6'7, 6'8 and cant jump :mindblown:
Anyway he's pretty much just a better version of Marvin Williams or Billy Owens at this point. I just dont like to wait and wait long for young players to (at least) show signs of what they can be. And sometimes they just need a change a scenery in a new system. I just dont see it happening here in Miami anymore.
Winslow may be more versatile being able to effectively play/guard every position but in 2018, James Johnson is just better, PERIOD.
