I think Waiters will learn from Wade off the court. Waiters needs a guy like Wade to reign him in and teach him the little things because we've all seen that Waiters's sheer talent is undeniable.
Staying healthy is another big issue. Waiters is always missing large numbers of games :beli:

McGruder is a great bench piece. He can guard most starting wings, he doesn't need the ball to be effective, he cuts well and shoots well, and he's all hustle.

Winslow, Rich, Bam, McGruder, and DJJ. That's not a bad young core. If we can get Jabari or Aaron Gordon :ehh:

That's a solid young core. Are Gordon and Jabari the only young pieces available?

I dunno about only but I think those are really good pieces that we'll be able to turn into something. Jabari, in particular, has that "star" scoring set from the midrange and has that Heat dog in him from my own eye test.

Gordon is a little harder to judge but that athletic ability, his shooting touch, and his versatility catches my eye too.

A lineup of

Winslow-Rich-McGruder-Parker-Bam with a TJ/Waiters/Olynyk is a good young lineup.

And we still got young development pieces like DJJ, Mickey, and such to try to groom.

ALways amazes me how Ellington be curling around a screen and before he’s even really facing the basket he’s already in the air and launching a 3 and shyt is all net. Reminds me so much of Ray Allen Seattle days)

Im also impressed with McGruder. DIdnt see him play las year since i missed most of our streak (had taken a break from sports). Since i doubt we can afford to keep Ellington in free agency it’s a good thing we can have McGruder fill that role again
