Speaking of JRich...he stays getting blown by on defense.

As a 1 on 1 defender I don't get the hype

All great defenders get blown by on one on one situations today. Guards are freakishly fast now or good at handling the rock.

-He's extremely tenacious and has a high motor. He doesn't play defense in spurts, he's constantly in your grill all game. Just physically, it wears you down. Since he never gives up on a play, had long arms, and he's athletic...players tend to take a second longer to decide what to do. Those seconds matter and it allows other people to get into position it just force good players into making good shots.

-His length and bounce also mean he can contest bigs too.

-He has great instincts and timing. He's good at switching when needed, he's a vocal communicator, he's versatile enough to switch into the 1-3 on any individual possession, and he stays involved on help defense too..

Our turnovers have been way down lately too...

This team would have a much better record if we didn't play do sloppy to start the season

Our chemistry is everything. Honestly, it seems like Spo was trying to have people play outside their comfort zone and pieces are finally starting to understand their role. Today, we shot like trash from the 3 but we still got buckets.
