'Sees Donavan Mitchell dropped 40'
Even with this win, I'm starting to feel deflated by the team. With the changes to the cap, lottery or 1st round picks are becoming a real commodity and I'm just not sure any of players are worth a high draft pick alone.
Dragic is a great player but he's not a star and he's older than most teams want. I'm not sure what we can get for an aging PG that needs to run the show to get the effect he wants.
Whiteside is talented as hell but the nagging injuries he gets plus his inconsistent play means GMs don't really rate him highly.
We got lots of older guys on nice sized contracts for a LONG LONG time so I'm kinda worried we don't get anything great for our guys.
Dion, Justise, Bam, and J-Rich should be our keepers. Those guys are young and seem to be improving every year.
I've been watching J-Rich more and more and Spo is absolutely in love with his defense. He's not smarter or more versatile than Winslow but his motor, aggressiveness, and disruption is otherworldly. Dude never gives up on a defensive possession and that shyt sticks with opposing players.
His biggest thing is experience which is why Spo gives him so many minutes despite his weird offensive struggles. J-Rich can probably be a Patrick Beverley type player in a few years.
I also think Mickey is young enough to be worth developing. He's 23, mobile, long, and can shoot. Give him a chance Spo.
