Joffrey, Ned, Rob, Lady Stark, King Robert, Tywin, Renly, Ygritte, Mance Rader are the only ones you could call main characters that are dead now.

Jaime spent most of the series in captivity and one the run, he was a subplot, Jorah is not a main character lol, arya was a subplot, I said Jon was a main character

Theon is not a main character and never was, Stannis was in the back most of the time except for the battle of black water, you can't compare his screen time to somebody like Tywin or Joffrey

Like I said they've been there the whole time, but most of the screen time was not dedicated to them

There actually isn't very much to work with here unless they were to focus on Arya, Jon Snow, and Stannis...and they have already set the show up to focus on way more than 3 characters at a time...

The hound etc are given lots of screen time and their stories ended u with nothing to replace them or conclude them

Do you know what SCREENTIME IS, Joffrey had more screen time than Cersei, more time was devoted to him, Twyin, and Tyrion, Cersei and Jaime revolved around them

Jamie spent most of the series off screen or captured away from what was happening, Cersei's whole existence revolved around Twyin, Tyrion, and Joffrey and her interactions WITH TIME, thats why withou them, she is not interesting or has nowhere to go

Sansa, and Arya, were not the main starks in the story, It was ned, rob, and the mother the MAJORITY OF THE TIME

THIS IS WHAT IS SHOWN ON SCREEN

Their plots were underneath the main events going on

what can't you understand, there's no action going on right now, because the characters moving the plot have been gone
