So instead of manning up and telling people what they need to hear, you decide to be a bytch?:gucci:
I've seen this way too much working in corporate. A degree doesn't give you the right qualifications to lead but unfortunately that doesn't matter. I've seen managers straight lie and manipulate a whole situation because they lacked the courage to tell the person the real reason they are firing them. And these ppl go through life behaving this way. I cannot respect that.
And sometimes and employee might not even know they're doing something wrong bc no one tells them. if you're complimenting an employee weekly and don't have any complaints, waiting until you're fed up and use an excuse you lack integrity, point blank period.
THIS.

on time is late most places. They like to see you early if possible.

Pick a field where this BS isn't applicable.

I've never worked for a place (except 1 or 2) where they are time sticklers. And in these upcoming interviews I will be asking about work culture and looking for hints.

"Work hard, play hard" is usually a big red flag. Big no no for me.

The funny thiing is my last job was some bulshyt rent a car shyt years ago where they'd be on that clocking you nonsense. U come into work 1-2 minutes late and they already talking.

One time the manager was having a meeting and he didn't let us in because the meeting started at 7 and we were talking up to the door as the hour struck 7. bytch ass nikka :smh:

Yeah man it's like breh.

You paying me 100k+ a year to bring in revenue not show up 5 minutes early.

Those low wage jobs even those focus too much on appearance and not enough on quality of work. This is why most American companies are trash and productivity is flat lining.

Work for scumbag companies full of scumbag management brehs.

@Black Andy Dwyer which company was this if you don't mind me asking? At my new company they straight up told me they like timeliness and I'm on of the first people to walk into the office every day. At my old company my boss straight up didn't give a shyt when you walked through the door as long as you got your job done. You have to feel this shyt out and play by the rules until you make yourself invaluable and/or figure out what you can get away with.

Yup. My best and absolute worst managers were black women. One saw my potential and pushed me to excel. Then years later a different one saw me as a threat and took shots at every opportunity.

...I actually got sent home one time even though I showed up early...by a dusty black female supervisor no less

I got to work before everybody even before that ashy female supervisor

but because there was suppose to be something about having a diverse sales staff I was told to go home even though the other two dusty female employees showed up like 2 hours late:martin:

I left that shyt and never returned:damn:

It's expensive to actually hire someone. To get fired you must have done something wrong. :yeshrug:

I had a friend that was fired this year and they were saying that he was late MANY times dating back to 2014. :mjlol:

But knowing him personally and working with him briefly, I knew him to be a bit arrogant and brash. He would even drop nikka in meetings :gucci:

He would come to work high, but he would get his shyt done.

I knew the personality of the people in the department he worked in. Two white guys. One definitely caused noise and knew how to get things done as a director.

I know my friend wouldn't mesh well with their personalities. Plus he was in a much higher role and paid him a LOT but his role wasn't needed as much with the new corporate structure so I think he was a bit too expensive for the department too.

They eventually fired him due to being late many times (which he was) but there were many other things.

In the bay traffic is so bad, I lived 60 miles from SF, had to be to work by 7am

I was leaving house my at 4:00am just to not be late, beat traffic, and get free street parking....I was never late once.

I was at work at 5:30am chilling eating breakfast showing up 30min early to start.

Be on early..not on time.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
The red is the main importand part, when playing chess or checkers. Basically, he was setting up you up to fire you right after he hired you. He told you that lie, to let your guards down and that's what happened. But, you fukk yourself up; by asking about attendance, you gave him the chess move.

From right there, when you asked about attendance, he already knew what he was going to fire you for. They were looking to fire you anyways, so asking about attendance, made his job easier.
:mindblown: At any decent company, you have to answer for turnover rate, and it cost money, time, and resources for on-boarding. I have never in my life heard of hiring someone just to fire them, what would be the point of that?

What kind of life is this breh

I could see if you get off at 3pm then aiight.

I used to work retail I had early morning shift. But never any OT.

Corporate jobs are usually 50-60 hours a week. You can't expect me to show up at 8am sharp and leave at 8pm EVERY SINGLE DAY. No one is tolerating that kind of job anymore.:martin:

It's ineffective, inefficient and demoralizing. Treat your workers like 8 year olds then wonder why the department is in the red 4 straight quarters.:gucci:
