No one is coming back from a compound fracture in the same season. Was he wearing lowtops? :sadcam:

that's not true. they are saying they were clean breaks. its not that complex of a situation as far as the bones. they just put them back together with pins and plates. his bones are going to be fine, the issue is first dealing with the swelling post-surgery, making sure his skin is ok and doesnt get infected. then the big issue as far as comeback is getting in shape which will be difficult because of how soon he can start rehab to a lower extremity injury. they said it was no ligament or blood vessel damage so injury appears to look a lot worse than it really is. in fact, he may return to action in less time than Isaiah who will have been out for about 8 months by the time he plays. Hayward could possibly return before April.

We should be running our own practice with all the coli doctors in this muh'fukka.

:wow:

Yea folks should chill on diagnosis

Although given what Hayward see happen with IT and his injury and subsequent treatment by Boston it really should give him pause about coming back...

I might give that shyt a whole season and summer to rehab.......but it aint my life so he gottta do him

The Celtics overhauled their entire training staff this offseason, possibly because of how they mismanaged IT...

i'm an internist/hospitalist and manage inpatient orthopedics patients on the regular. A few ortho folks i've talked to have told me 4-6 months, closer to 6 for a fracture + dislocation on the assumption ligaments are fine. He could theoretically be back for the playoffs (maybe even a few weeks before) if he rehabs well and they decide to push it.

Low-key LeThot is responsible for the injury because he bumped into Hayward in mid-air causing him to lose balance and fall out of control on his ankle:francis:

But the real gruesome part of that video wasn't even the injury, it was LeThot showing his bald spot in HD on national TV:scust::skip:

Negative, watch the replay closely, it was Crowder who did him in.

I notice that with bron kicks. Them shyts got mad ankle support and always high top. The lows are just summer time kicks. Smart shyt too i dont understand why other players dont stick to thag but i guess when u designing your own shoe they care about the fans wearing them casually
I never understood why professional basketball players are doing so in low tops. No ankle support which is obviously crucial in this sport.

I do hope so. Hopefully the reports are true about the seriousness of it and surgery goes well. I dont know how good Boston will be in a few months but if they are a playoff team, would love to see him back on the court. Also, the East, which is already thin possibly lost an All Star which sucks but at the same times it opens up a spot for someone else.

I remember when I first saw KD's. I was like ok, cool, so they have a low top and a high top version. :jbhmm:

Then when I saw him playing in them I was like :damn:
